• John Cena & His Wife Go On Regular Double Dates With SmackDown Star & Her Husband
John Cena and Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder) have shared a friendship that goes back more than a decade, starting with a storyline involving Kane and Eve Torres that helped Cardona get more television time.
The two still meet regularly, as Cardona’s wife, SmackDown star Chelsea Green, recently revealed in an interview with Woman’s World that she and Cardona often go on double dates with Cena and his wife, Shay.
Here’s what she said:
“My husband and I go on double dates with John and Shay, every couple months, and the knowledge that comes out of him is incredible.
He totally has my back and if I just continue to touch base with him, I’ll continue to get those little bits of information and advice that are so crucial when you’re on this journey of trying to figure out what you want to do next.”
John Cena is a big supporter of Matt Cardona. He gave the former Intercontinental Champion a shoutout after he wrestled his first WWE match in 5 years on the October 14th episode of NXT.

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long has faced a difficult few years, losing his wife Tasha in September 2022 and his son Antione in July of this year.
He has now found love again with Denise, a partner he first met four decades ago. Speaking on SK Wrestling’s WrestleBinge podcast, the former SmackDown General Manager shared the story of their reunion.
“Denise and I are God meant to be because I met Denise 40 years ago, then we separated, but she would always stay in touch with me. We finally got back together after 40 some years.
And we didn’t do it wrong. We didn’t cheat or nothing. She was married. I was married. My wife died. So what happened? Her husband died. So that’s how it all happened.”
