• WWE Veteran Teases Retiring After John Cena & AJ Styles

Pro wrestling may be preparing to say goodbye to another veteran. Following John Cena’s farewell this year and AJ Styles’ planned departure next year, Shinsuke Nakamura hinted that his own retirement might be on the horizon.

After WWE’s Japan tour concluded, The King Of Strong Style took to X to hint that he may hang up his boots soon. Here’s what he posted:

“What a special place Japan is. especially for those of us who wrestle.

As AJ said, it’s a place worthy of giving everything you’ve got. Of course, that’s true anywhere in the world… but there’s something sacred here. I don’t know if it’s because I’m Japanese, but I believe the wrestlers and fans who shared this space all felt the same. Maybe.

He did too — John Cena, AJ — they’ve all chosen to step away from the ring. It reminds me that my own time might not be far off.

But I still have things I must do. I’m still struggling, still fighting, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

All I can do is live this day with everything I have.

Thank you.

If only… one more time…”

After beginning his career in 2002, Shinsuke Nakamura signed with WWE in 2016 and has been with the company for nearly a decade.

John Cena will wrestle his final match on December 13. AJ Styles said goodbye to WWE fans in Japan and received a tribute from the roster at the end of the tour.

• Ilja Dragunov’s Girlfriend Breaks Silence On Cheating Allegations

Last Friday’s episode of SmackDown featured the long-awaited return of Ilja Dragunov to in-ring action. After being out for more than a year, The Mad Dragon defeated Sami Zayn to win the United States Championship on his first night back.

Following his huge win, former WWE wrestler Jin Tala, now known as Leigh Laurel, confirmed that she is in a relationship with Dragunov. She shared several posts on X showing her support for him and expressed how proud she was of his comeback and success.

While many fans were happy about the news, one fan stirred controversy online after the couple went public. They accused Dragunov of cheating on his ex-wife, posting:

“This is your hero, @UNBESIEGBAR_ZAR, who cheated on his wife with @leighlaurel and got the US Title for it #SmackDown.”

The fan even used an old WWE video package from Dragunov’s NXT UK days, which featured his ex-wife, as supposed evidence of the claim.

Leigh quickly shut down the rumors by replying:

“His ex-wife and I are on amicable terms. They have a healthy co-parenting relationship. They are divorced. I won’t stand for defamation so cut out your factitious assumptions.”

In another tweet, she added:

“I could let these comments go without needing to prove what kind of people we are, or I can inform you not to mess with the type of people we are. PERIOD.”
