AEW Dynamite Results – Wrestler Injured, Blood & Guts Match Revealed, New No.1 Contender For World Title

AEW presented the Halloween special “Fright Night” episode of Dynamite from the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, tonight. Below are the complete results from the show:

– Trick or Treat Tornado Tag Team Match: Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy defeated The Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta.

– HOOK sent a message to the rest of the competitors in tonight’s 4-Way Match to determine the next challenger for the AEW World Championship. He said that he is the underdog, but was confident heading in.

– Don Callis spoke with Renee Paquette before calling over The Young Bucks and trying to convince them to join The Don Callis Family. He later arranged a special entrance for them and personally introduced the duo.

– AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Fright Night 4-Way Match: FTR defeated The Young Bucks, JetSpeed and Jurassic Express.

– During The Don Callis Family Summit, Callis tried to get Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita to shake hands, but Okada flipped Takeshita off instead. They had to be pulled apart, after which Callis announced that they would team up this Saturday on Collision.

– AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander, speaking with Renee Paquette, said she and Mercedes Moné were both in the building and that if The CEO had something to say, she knew where to find her.

– Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly ended in a double count-out. A brawl between Darby Allin & The Conglomeration and The Death Riders broke out. The Conglomeration and Allin challenged The Death Riders to a Blood & Guts Match.

– AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné attacked Kris Statlander backstage. They continued fighting into the arena. Athena came to Mone’s aid, before Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron rushed out to make the save.

– A vignette showing Bandido’s family coming to see him wrestle for the first time aired.

– AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match: Sisters Of Sin defeated Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata with some help from Thekla.

– Penelope Ford revealed that she tore her UCL and would be unable to compete in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. Marina Shafir appeared and announced that she would team up with Megan Bayne in Ford’s place.

– AEW World Championship #1 Contender’s Fright Night 4-Way Match: Samoa Joe defeated HOOK, Ricochet and Bobby Lashley.

After the match, Tony Schiavone brought out a group of people in costumes for a contract signing. As The Opps were celebrating, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page, disguised as Tony Schiavone, attacked The Opps.
