At first, it was reported that WWE was planning to do John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series 2025.
However, Bodyslam+ reports that Cena vs. Dirty Dom for the IC Title is now scheduled to take place on tonight’s RAW.
In an update, Ibou of Self Made reported that Cena will now work the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2025. Cory Hays added that WWE has been discussing this new idea for a few weeks now. This will be Cena’s final WWE PPV/PLE match.
Regarding the Men’s WarGames Match, previous reports suggested that Roman Reigns and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk are scheduled to form a team to take on The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, and other rumored names like Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory.
Cena tweeted the following ahead of tonight’s show:
“RAW. BOSTON. ONE LAST TIME.

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss (c) vs. The Kabuki Warriors
