• John Cena Issues Statement After Becoming Intercontinental Champion

New Intercontinental Champion John Cena issued the following statement after becoming Grand Slam Champion on last night’s WWE RAW:

“Thank you Boston. It meant so much to be able, for one last time, to be allowed an opportunity to do what I love, in a place I love, surrounded by those I love. Our performances are only meaningful if YOU the audience invest in us and decide they are.

The smile on my face and awe in my eyes in this small clip is an honest show of grateful disbelief & appreciation for all you’ve ever invested in me.

Last night meant more than I can ever express. Thank you Boston.”

• Finn Balor Pokes Fun At Dominik Mysterio After Intercontinental Title Loss

Dominik Mysterio’s decision to disrespect John Cena on last night’s RAW backfired spectacularly, costing him the Intercontinental Championship. The interruption during Cena’s farewell appearance in Boston led to Dirty Dom losing the title and watching Cena become a Grand Slam Champion.

The pro wrestling world celebrated the GOAT’s historic win, and some even poked fun at Dirty Dom.

The former Intercontinental Champion wasn’t safe even from his own stablemate, Finn Balor, who took to X to throw shade at him. Here’s what he posted:

“I woke up and I’m having a wonderful day!”

Dominik wasn’t happy with The Judgment Day after his title loss. Here’s what he said:

“I don’t understand what happened. Where’s Finn? Where’s JD? Raquel? Roxanne? Anybody? Anybody? Where is The Judgment Day? Where is The Judgment Day when you need them, huh? Honestly, it doesn’t even matter. I’m still holding gold. I was cheated out there by my so called boss, Triple H. Putting me there. Where is my family!? Why am I doing this?”

On last night’s RAW, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Raquel Rodriguez to retain the Women’s World Championship. Roxanne Perez tried to interfere in the match, but Nikki Bella took her out. Roxanne attacked Stephanie after the match, but Nikki took her out again.

Nikki and Stephanie hugged. Nikki then turned heel and attacked Stephanie with the World Title.

The WWE Hall of Famer tweeted the following about her heel turn:

“Did you really think I’d play nice forever?

P.S. Every queen needs a strategist. #bostonrobapproved

• Spoiler On John Cena’s Next Move After Intercontinental Title Win

As seen on last night’s RAW, the Men’s WarGames Match for Survivor Series 2025 was made official, as Team CM Punk (which currently consists of Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso) will take on Team Vision (which currently consists of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul).

According to Ibou of Self Made, John Cena will join Team CM Punk for this WarGames Match. Cena has never competed in a WarGames match before, and this is going to be the final PLE match of his WWE career.

Cena defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship on last night’s RAW, thus becoming a Grand Slam Champion.

Speaking of the WarGames match, Roman Reigns is also expected to be on Punk’s team. On The Vision’s team, names like Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory were rumored to join (this was reported before Seth Rollins got injured).

• Andrade Walks Out Of Mexican Wrestling Event

The mystery surrounding Andrade El Idolo’s wrestling future deepened over the weekend after he allegedly walked out of a wrestling event in Mexico, leaving fans and promoters baffled.

The former WWE United States Champion was advertised as one of the headline attractions for The Crash’s 14th Anniversary Show in Tijuana on November 7. Andrade did appear earlier in the day for a meet-and-greet session, signing autographs and taking photos with fans, but when it came time to step into the ring, he was nowhere to be found.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Andrade abruptly left the building before his scheduled appearance. Sources backstage confirmed that he was unhappy, though the exact reason for his frustration has not been revealed.

“Andrade was on the show, probably the main attraction on the show. He was there signing autographs and then he left,” Meltzer said. “The only thing that we heard was that he was unhappy. His non-compete is only United States, so he can work in Tijuana, he can work Mexico City.”

The 36-year-old is reportedly bound by a one-year non-compete clause in the United States following his September termination from WWE, which was said to be due to repeated wellness policy violations.

Andrade briefly reappeared in All Elite Wrestling on the October 1st episode of Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega and aligning with Don Callis in what appeared to be a major storyline shift. But within weeks, he vanished from television again.

Reports later surfaced that WWE had sent a legal letter to AEW, warning the company about Andrade’s contractual status and alleged violations of his non-compete. Since then, AEW officials have reportedly instructed commentary teams not to mention Andrade’s name on air, effectively freezing his presence from programming.
