• Bad News For John Cena & Roman Reigns Fans
It looks like John Cena and Roman Reigns won’t share the screen during Cena’s retirement tour. After Cena defeated Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship, Ibou of Self Made reported that Cena will be on Team CM Punk for the Men’s WarGames Match against Team Vision at Survivor Series 2025.
This began rumors that the babyface team will be: John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso.
However, the Wrestling Observer now reports that Cena isn’t scheduled to be part of this match, and that the current plan is for The OTC to return and join the team, as he’s been in a feud with The Vision for months.
• Drew McIntyre’s Suspension Could Be Lifted Very Soon For Huge Match
After suffering a tough loss to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Drew McIntyre completely lost his composure on last week’s SmackDown. During the show’s main event, he stormed the ring and delivered a Claymore Kick to referee Dan Engler.
The Scottish Psychopath’s outburst didn’t go unpunished, as SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that McIntyre was being suspended for his actions.
However, McIntyre’s absence might not last long. According to Ibou of Self Made, WWE officials have discussed the idea to have McIntyre compete in the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series later this month.
As of now, the babyface team includes Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Jey Uso, while the heel side features Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul.
Other big names such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Jimmy Uso, Jacob Fatu (prior to his injury) and LA Knight have also been mentioned internally as possible participants, with Lesnar rumored to side with the heels and the rest leaning towards the babyface team.
• Top AEW Star “Banged Up” After Blood & Guts
The first-ever Women’s Blood & Guts match featured TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir and Triangle of Madness facing off against AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander, Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, Mina Shirakawa, Jamie Hayter and Harley Cameron.
The match quickly turned chaotic, with weapons such as chairs, trash can lids, barbed wire bats and glass used throughout. In the end, Mercedes Moné’s team won after Toni Storm was forced to give up to save Mina Shirakawa.
Fightful Select reports that Jamie Hayter was “banged up” after the brutal match. The former AEW Women’s World Champion may have sustained some damage to her teeth.
The report also noted that Skye Blue is doing well, despite bleeding heavily from the start of the match.

• Ric Flair Left AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts Early Because He Was In Pain
On last Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone announced that WWE Hall of Famers Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Ric Flair would be in attendance for Blood & Guts at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
However, Flair did not appear on last night’s broadcast. Steamboat was present and had a segment with FTR and Stokely Hathaway, who attempted to take him out before AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido made the save.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Flair was at the venue, but only made a brief appearance for the live crowd. The Nature Boy left early because he was in significant pain from a recent rotator cuff tear.

AEW was forced to make changes to the show after Flair’s early departure. While it’s unclear exactly what was originally planned for him, the word going around is that he was going to do something related to the Steamboat/FTR segment.
