• Penta Issues Statement After Shoulder Injury On RAW
On last night’s episode of WWE RAW, Penta lost to Solo Sikoa due to doctor’s stoppage in the quarter-finals of The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
The match had to be stopped midway after Penta attempted a hurricanrana off the barricade and hurt his left shoulder due to a bad landing. This led to Solo Sikoa advancing to the semi-finals to face GUNTHER.
Penta issued the following statement on X about his injury:
“Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me. This injury tested my body and spirit, but it also awakened the strength that has always guided me. I am a Mexican warrior, forged in struggle, honor, and heart. And though the fall was hard, I rose with a fire stronger than ever.
To my rival, my deepest respect. Thank you for your professionalism and for a clean, dignified battle. I recognize your dedication and honor.
I will be back very soon, stronger, more prepared, and determined to finish what I left pending.
Thank you for standing with me… because this war still has chapters to be written.”
The Wrestling Observer reported that Penta attempted to pop his shoulder back into place mid-match, but WWE’s medical staff refused to let him continue, ending the bout at around 4 minutes instead of the planned 12 minutes.
Also, WWE’s planned outcome was not affected by the injury, despite the early ending to the match. Solo Sikoa was originally slated to win the bout with a normal pinfall finish.

WWE taped tonight’s episode of NXT Gold Rush – Week 2 last week at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. On this episode, Intercontinental Champion John Cena appeared in pre-taped footage to announce participants for this year’s Iron Survivor Challenges at the NXT Deadline 2025 PLE.
While announcing the participants, Cena put all the names over, including former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. Cena said “I believe in Joe Hendry” and then did the pose.
