• Chris Jericho’s Latest Comment About Possible WWE Return
For months, Chris Jericho has been noticeably absent from All Elite Wrestling programming, and that silence has only fueled questions about what lies ahead. His last appearance came back in April 2025, when he publicly voiced frustration with Big Bill and Bryan Keith after losing the ROH World Championship and then walked away.
With Jericho’s AEW deal expected to expire at the end of the year, speculation around his next move has continued to grow. Those questions resurfaced in an unexpected way during AEW Worlds End weekend, when Jericho went live on YouTube for a holiday-themed broadcast titled Christmas Dinner With The Winnipeggers.
During the stream, a fan message caught Jericho’s attention, recalling watching his 1999 WWF debut and expressing hope that he might one day return to WWE. Jericho didn’t shut the idea down: “You never know. You never know.”
That comment stood out even more in light of recent reporting. Ahead of Worlds End, Fightful Select noted that Jericho’s name had not been part of AEW’s ongoing creative discussions.
Earlier this month, Jericho also addressed his future directly in an interview, making it clear that retirement isn’t on the table just yet. While he admitted he’s still sorting through his options, he confidently stated that fans can expect to see him competing somewhere in 2026.
