• RAW Veteran Undergoes Surgery
Sheamus has now undergone surgery after being off WWE television in recent weeks. The update surfaced after his wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, shared a video on social media showing the two arriving at the Birmingham Surgery Center, a facility frequently used by WWE talent.
According to PWInsider, Sheamus underwent shoulder surgery on Tuesday in Birmingham, Alabama. No timetable for his return has been announced.
Sheamus was last seen competing on the November 17 episode of RAW, teaming with John Cena and Rey Mysterio in a match against The Judgment Day. This was Cena’s final RAW match.
Shortly after that appearance, he was removed from The Last Time Is Now tournament on November 21 due to the injury. He had previously advanced by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura in the first round on November 10.
• CM Punk Mocks Kevin Nash At WWE Live Event (Video)
Kevin Nash discussed World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk’s current in-ring work, offering a blunt assessment that centered on Punk’s physical decline and overall presentation on WWE television.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, the 2-time WWE Hall of Famer questioned whether Punk is still capable of performing at the level expected of a World Heavyweight Champion, and his criticism focused heavily on what he saw during Punk’s recent RAW match.
Nash pointed directly to Punk’s movement and striking, saying, “I watched Punk in the main event of that match last Monday… his punches looked really slow. He looks slow.”
He was particularly critical of Punk wrestling in a T-shirt while positioned as the top champion, framing it as symbolic of a larger problem. “If you’re the heavyweight champion of the WWE and you wrestle in a T-Shirt… ouch.”
Nash went further, openly questioning whether Punk should still be in a featured role at all. “I think it’s time for him. I think he’s done.” He followed that statement by suggesting a clear booking direction, arguing that WWE should move forward with its younger talent rather than continuing to rely on Punk in marquee positions.
That led Nash to Bron Breakker, whom he believes should decisively defeat Punk. “I think Bron should beat him,” Nash said, reinforcing his stance that the future of the company should take priority over maintaining Punk’s status. In Nash’s view, Punk’s current performances no longer justify protecting him at the expense of emerging stars.
At tonight’s WWE Live Event in Fort Myers, Florida, Punk mocked Nash during his match against Bronson Reed:
