• Update On Whether There’s Backstage Heat On Jade Cargill For Recent Injuries

PWInsider confirmed that SmackDown wrestler B-Fab suffered a concussion during the WWE Holiday Tour stop in Syracuse on January 1st. She has since been placed into WWE’s concussion protocol.

B-Fab was injured while working a match against WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, prompting WWE to adjust the remaining dates. Bayley was brought in to take her place and finish the tour opposite Cargill.

The situation follows another recent injury. Michin was sidelined last week after suffering a shoulder injury during a match against Cargill.

During a WrestleVotes Live Q&A on Fightful Select, it was revealed that there’s no backstage heat on Cargill for these injuries:

“There’s no heat on Jade. Injuries happen and it just so happens that the injuries coming out of the House Shows both happened with her in the ring. There’s no heat on her.

She’s in the clear, but that can change if more people start getting hurt under her watch.”

• Scott Steiner Has A Message For CM Punk After Last Night’s RAW

In the main event of last night’s RAW, CM Punk defeated Bron Breakker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The Vision ran out during the match. Punk punched Bronson Reed and Logan Paul. Breakker crashed Punk into the referee, sending the referee out of the ring. Austin Theory hit Punk with a stomp.

Dragon Lee, Penta, and Rey Mysterio came out to take out The Vision. Punk punched Paul Heyman during the match. In the end, Breakker went for a spear, but Punk got his knee up and nailed Bron in the head. Punk then hit the GTS for the win.

During his entrance, Punk wore a jacket similar to what Rick Steiner (Breakker’s father) used to wear during his days in the Varsity Club faction. You can watch it below:

Scott Steiner saw this and tweeted: “Everyone wants to be from a highly educated university.”

• Change In Roman Reigns’ Status

As we previously reported, one of the names discussed as the winner of the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia on January 31 is Roman Reigns. The OTC is rumored for a third WrestleMania match with Cody Rhodes. The match was teased at the end of Survivor Series: WarGames, but it’s unknown if The Tribal Chief would get the match through a Royal Rumble victory.

According to the Wrestling Observer, a Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns rubber match is in WWE’s plans, but it’s not necessary that the company will book it for WrestleMania.

In an update from Self Made Pro, Roman is set to return to WWE programming soon. Instead of appearing on RAW (which has been the case in recent memory), he is expected to appear on SmackDown this time around, which could be a possible hint that The Head of the Table will put The American Nightmare on notice.
