• 4 TNA Stars Have Joined AEW
The landscape of the tag team division in All Elite Wrestling has received a major boost as The Rascalz have officially joined the roster. Fightful Select has confirmed that all four members of the group – Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, and Trey Miguel – have signed multi-year deals with the company. The group reportedly finalized their move during the first week of January 2026.
The transition follows the group’s departure from TNA Wrestling. While TNA made a strong effort to retain the popular stable, AEW reportedly presented a superior financial and creative offer that the group could not turn down.
Interestingly, the contract statuses of the members varied. While Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz saw their deals expire at the end of 2025, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed had been working without formal TNA contracts. Despite at least one member being particularly eager for a fresh start elsewhere, the group is said to have left TNA on good terms.
The group’s arrival has already caused a ripple effect in the schedule of their former home. A highly anticipated match between Myron Reed and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater, originally set for TNA iMPACT’s AMC debut this week, was abruptly pulled from the lineup.
While Reed was reportedly willing to honor the booking, the match was canceled – largely due to reports that WWE is interested in using Leon Slater for their current European tour.
• Total WWE Viewership On Netflix In 2025 Revealed
One year after Monday Night RAW made its historic move to Netflix, the numbers are in – and they are massive! According to data released by the streaming giant, WWE fans spent more than 525 million hours watching WWE content on the platform in 2025. The flagship show, RAW, was the primary driver of this success, accounting for 340 million hours of watch time alone.
The partnership’s impact was felt globally, with RAW proving to be a dominant force on the Global Top 10 English TV charts. Out of the 52 weeks it aired in 2025, the show appeared on the charts for 47 of them, consistently drawing an average of over 3 million viewers per week. In the United States, the show’s performance was even more impressive, remaining in the local Top 10 for 51 out of 52 weeks. International markets like Canada, Mexico, Bolivia, and the UK also showed strong staying power for the brand.
Beyond the weekly episodic drama, Netflix’s broadcast of Premium Live Events (PLEs) outside the U.S. contributed significantly to the totals. Major shows like WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble, along with international streams of SmackDown, brought in an additional 185 million hours.
To build on this momentum, it was recently confirmed that a massive library of past WWE content is now being added to Netflix in the U.S., giving subscribers access to decades of wrestling history in one place.
• Champion Refused To Be Part Of WWE Unreal Season 2
The second season of WWE Unreal will release on Netflix on January 20th and Seth Rollins’ fake injury angle, which led to a surprise Money In The Bank cash-in at SummerSlam 2025, will be a big part of this season.
Rollins recently told ESPN New York that he didn’t want to be part of WWE Unreal. Now, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk has revealed that he refused to be part of Unreal season 2. Here’s what Punk said on the Notsam Wrestling podcast:
“I know they’re asking me to do an interview for it and I kept saying, ‘no, no, I’m not gonna be there.’ And we never did the interview. So I don’t know if that means I’m not in it, but there’s a camera in my face everywhere I go, so I’m sure I’ll pop up.
If I don’t want them to shoot something, I just go, ‘don’t shoot it,’ or I know there’s cameras waiting here. I’ll go walk somewhere else.”
