• MJF Takes a Shot at the Age of WWE’s Top Stars
MJF isn’t just carrying the AEW World Championship; he’s now acting as the company’s unofficial lead scout, all while poking holes in WWE’s youth movement claims.
Following a successful title defense against Alec Price at a Limitless Wrestling event on January 16, MJF shocked the crowd by offering AEW contracts to both Price and his ally Jordan Oliver on the spot. In a subsequent interview with Justin Barrasso, MJF made it clear that he views “cultivating professional wrestling” as a personal responsibility attached to his status as the face of All Elite Wrestling.
However, the “generational talent” couldn’t help but twist the knife into his rivals in Stamford. While WWE often markets its developmental system as a factory for the future, MJF pointed out a glaring disconnect between their branding and their booking. “It saddens me,” MJF remarked, “There is the big promotion that loves to talk about how much they want to cultivate their young talent, but everyone on the top of their card is not young.”
The jab targets the perception that despite WWE’s focus on “Next Gen” athletes, the main event scene remains dominated by established veterans over the age of 40.
• Ex-WWE Couple Announces Birth Of 3rd Child
Congratulations are in order for Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett, as the former WWE/AEW couple welcomed their third child together.
Here’s what Maria wrote:
“William Mercury Bennett was born yesterday afternoon at 7 pounds 7ounces and 18.8 inches. He is an absolute angel. William gets his name from his great-grandfather who is my godfather and was an immigrant from Greece. And my brother who is a veteran, husband, father, and wonderful brother. They are two of the toughest men I know. William Mercury’s name means strong willed warrior, messenger. We are so in love.

• Return Discussed For Next Week’s RAW
The long road to recovery for Chad Gable is reportedly nearing its end, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect for the American Made stable.
After vanishing from the spotlight following a brutal rotator cuff injury sustained while competing as the masked El Grande Americano on WWE Speed, Gable has spent months rehabbing behind the scenes.
However, The Master may be ready to trade the training room for the ring as soon as next Monday. According to PWInsider, creative pitches have been flying for Gable to make his grand return during next week’s RAW in Toronto.
The stakes for this specific episode are massive for his crew. The Creed Brothers are scheduled to compete in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match to crown the new #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championship, currently held by The Usos.
With American Made’s championship dreams on the line, the arrival of their leader could provide the tactical edge needed to topple three other teams and secure a date with Jimmy and Jey Uso.
While WWE hasn’t officially locked in the appearance, the creative alignment of a major tag match and Gable’s reported availability suggests that Toronto fans might be the first to hear that “SHOOOOSH” in person for the first time in 2026.
