Former WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle has confirmed that she will be a part of the TNA No Surrender weekend, appearing in Nashville on February 13 and 14 for both the live event and subsequent television tapings.
During a recent virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Candice reflected on how her perspective has shifted since she first entered the industry. When she originally signed with WWE, she was told her role was simply to pretty-up the business – a directive she defied by eventually winning the WWE Women’s Championship.
Now, she views TNA as a platform where she can contribute to the growth of the entire roster. While her exact role remains a mystery, she expressed a desire to work both behind and in front of the scenes, focusing on how she can best serve the talent and the company’s long-term vision.
The itch to return to the ring became undeniable the moment she first stepped back into a wrestling environment during TNA iMPACT’s AMC premiere on January 15. Candice admitted that standing by the ring for even a second made her realize how deeply she missed the business.
Although she hasn’t wrestled a match since a 2017 victory over Lisa Marie Varon, the 47-year-old veteran is treating this TNA opportunity as perfect timing to explore her passion for the sport once again, whether that leads to a full-blown in-ring comeback or a mentorship role backstage.
Below are the matches that are currently announced for TNA No Surrender on February 13:
– TNA World Champion Mike Santana and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater vs. Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards
– TNA Knockouts World Championship Match: Léi Yǐng Lee (c) vs. NXT’s Arianna Grace
– TNA International Championship Match: NXT’s Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (c) vs. Trey Miguel
– TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) and The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Special Agent 0)
