Ulka Sasaki’s excursion to the United States has already included in-ring time under the WWE banner. The NOAH standout worked a dark match prior to the February 24 episode of NXT, squaring off against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo before the live broadcast began.

Sasaki is currently spending time at the WWE Performance Center as part of his overseas developmental experience while remaining under contract to Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Ulka arrived in Florida shortly after wrapping up a strong run in Japan. Since debuting for NOAH in early 2024, he quickly climbed the ranks, capturing both the GHC National and GHC Tag Team Championships. His last match before heading abroad was a January 11 bout against Kenta.

Long before entering the wrestling ring, Sasaki built his name in mixed martial arts. He competed in major promotions including UFC (where he had 9 fights), along with Rizin and Shooto, compiling experience at the highest levels of the sport. He competed in MMA from 2010 to 2013 and has a record of 24-10-2.
