• NXT Star Is In New Faction Because He’s “F**kin” WWE Veteran’s Daughter

On this week’s episode of NXT, Lexis King and Uriah Connors defeated Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights after Dempsey turned heel on Tavion. William Regal (Charlie’s father) and Fit Finlay (Uriah’s father) came out during the ending moments of the match, which led to Dempsey’s heel turn.

Dempsey joined forces with Lexis (Brian Pillman’s son), Uriah, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and TNA Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace (Santino Marella’s daughter), together known as Birth Right.

Arianna wrote the following about this faction: “It’s in our DNA, the takeover is our BIRTHRIGHT.”

A fan questioned why Stacks is in this faction: “But Stacks isn’t related to anyone.” Another fan replied: “He f**kin.”

Stacks took a screenshot of this conversation, posted it, and wrote: “This should clear things up. #BirthRight” For those who don’t know, Stacks and Arianna are engaged.

According to PWInsider, Regal and Finlay will be making regular appearances on NXT as part of this storyline moving forward. It was also noted that this week’s NXT was the first WWE event Regal attended in any capacity after quite some time.

• Spoiler On WWE’s Latest WrestleMania 42 Plan For IYO SKY

Bodyslam reports that IYO SKY is expected to feud with The Kabuki Warriors as WrestleMania 42 draws near.

Right now, WWE has Asuka vs. IYO SKY booked as a one-on-one match for the event. However, there’s talk backstage about bringing in Kairi Sane too. If that happens, it could become a triple threat featuring the three stars.

IYO SKY shares a deep history with Asuka and Kairi from their time in Damage CTRL, and recent angles have shown growing friction among them.

• Cody Rhodes Is Debuting New Character For WrestleMania 42

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes plans to become “Golden Boy” Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42. Sami Zayn recently called Cody WWE’s golden boy in one of their backstage segments and said Cody will eventually win back the Undisputed WWE Championship, which he did.

During an interview on Complex Graps The Podcast, Cody said he plans to lean into this “Golden Boy” character for his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42:

“Even at my experience level in pro wrestling, I still haven’t fully found who I am, and I would like this to be the reign that defines who I am. I heard a term that was said in a condescending fashion, but I didn’t take it that way. I actually blushed. I heard someone say ‘golden boy,’ and I loved it.

I don’t know if I was supposed to love it, especially with how they were saying it. But I thought, ‘okay, maybe I’ll lean into that,’ and maybe that’s the identity of this reign.

I’m certainly out there in terms of output, and hopefully this is the one time I say it otherwise, it becomes self-obsessed, but I’m outrunning everybody on the treadmill right now, even the guy I consider my largest competition.

If that’s gonna be the case, I’ll take this golden boy moniker and see where it goes. I might even dial up my WrestleMania gear to lean into it further. I know that’s a bit vague, but I’d like this reign to give me an identity that perhaps I’ve been seeking, because every reign is different.”

• Cody Rhodes Makes A Bold Prediction For WrestleMania 42

Cody Rhodes thinks WrestleMania 42 is going to be the best WrestleMania ever bell-to-bell. Here’s what the Undisputed WWE Champion said on Complex Graps The Podcast:

“I said something that I don’t love how it came out, I said, ‘we’re sitting on a sleeper Mania.’ What I meant was because a ten-year Mania, like (WrestleMania) 40, you feel this sense of destiny. There is something about that ten-year moment.

This year, we have our main event with CM Punk and Roman Reigns. We just got to myself versus Randy Orton as the other main event.

The matches that are coming together, Stephanie and Liv, what clearly looks like what Jacob might be doing. You talked about Sami. I think you’re looking at a bell-to-bell Mania that is the best it’s been. A bell-to-bell wrestling.

The type of stuff I grew up on — wrestling, bell-to-bell. For people who come for all the other grandeur and the spectacle that is WrestleMania, that’s all there, too. I feel like I saw some names on a sheet of some potential guests that is really exciting for a WrestleMania, for me, particularly. But yeah, bell-to-bell, I think they’re going to get one of the better Manias, if not the best Mania of all time.

I’d watch this WrestleMania for the potentials of Je’Von, for the potentials of Oba, for the potentials of Kit Wilson, for the potentials of guys who hopefully and girls are sitting here in this chair between you two guys 10 years from now talking about main eventing at WrestleMania.”
