SmackDown Results – 2 Heel Turns, Title Change, Big Ending, Jelly Roll’s Next Match Announced

– Tonight’s SmackDown kicked off with Drew McIntyre attacking Jacob Fatu in the parking lot. Drew then came to the ring and blamed Fatu for him losing the Undisputed WWE Title and not being in the main event of WrestleMania 42. Jacob attacked Drew and put him through the announce table.

– WWE Tag Team Championship Match: R-Truth and Damian Priest def. The MFTs (Tama Tonga and JC Mateo) (c) to win the titles

The Wyatt Sicks interfered and attacked My Family Tree.

– Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss told The Bella Twins that they are next in line for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

– Candice LeRae gave Danhausen $20 to fix Johnny Gargano. Danhausen took the money and left.

– Sami Zayn said he can’t stop thinking about Cody Rhodes after last week’s attack. Sami said the world he believes in doesn’t exist anymore. Trick Williams mocked Sami again.

– Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) def. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) after Candice LeRae punched Frazer behind the referee’s back

– Randy Orton came out and fans were cheering for him, chanting his name, and singing his theme song. Orton said meeting young fans is the emptiest he has ever felt. He doesn’t want his legacy to be someone that meets young fans — he wants his legacy to be how many world titles he put around his waist, and the fans cheered.

Orton said Cody Rhodes told him to listen to his “voices,” but when that happens, he loses control. He needs that killer instinct to add world title #15 to his legacy.

Randy said the voices in his head tell him that he’s going to beat Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania.

– Backstage, Matt Cardona called out Randy Orton for attacking Cody Rhodes. Orton said:

“Are you freaking kidding me? You’ve got the nerve to talk to me, of all people, like that? Don’t you got some action figures to go play with? Mark-a$$ stooge. Indy nerd. God…you’re wasting my time. Matter of fact, I’m done.”

Orton then attacked Cardona.

– Aleister Black (with Zelina) def. Sami Zayn

Sami attacked Trick Williams during the match, which caused the distraction for Black to hit the Black Mass for the win.

– Matt Cardona asked Nick Aldis for a match against Randy Orton tonight, but Aldis said no. After this, it was revealed that Ilja Dragunov will get a United States Championship match against Carmelo Hayes.

– In a vignette, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend said The Bella Twins are just trying to relive their glory days.

– WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill said Rhea Ripley needs wrestling, but she doesn’t, because she was that b*tch before entering wrestling. Cargill said she’s not here to make friends — she’s here to make the most money. Rhea said Jade’s got the friends part going for her. Rhea said she’s been busting her a$$ since the age of 16. Rhea welcomed Jade to the big leagues and told her to take a shot. Jade said she will do it on her time and left the ring. Michin and B-Fab showed up, but they sided with Jade. They turned heel and attacked Ripley.

– The Miz hyped up Kit Wilson backstage. Danhausen showed up and wants to be their muscle against Jelly Jam.

– United States Championship Match: Carmelo Hayes (c) def. Ilja Dragunov to retain the title

– Solo Sikoa blamed The MFTs’ WWE Tag Team Championship loss on Tama Tonga. Tama said Solo is beginning to sound like Roman Reigns. Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu were still brawling backstage.

– Jelly Roll congratulated new WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Damian Priest. Jelly then met Randy Orton. Orton apologized to Jelly. Jelly said Orton is a beautiful soul. Orton asked Jelly how does he fix what he did with Matt Cardona earlier. Jelly told Orton to find Cardona and do the right thing.

– Kit Wilson and Jelly Roll had a poetry slam. After Kit made jokes about Jelly not being able to see his little wiener due to being fat, Jelly said Kit’s mother sees it for him. Jelly then said:

“You talk about Ozempic, that’s really original. ‘Hey, Jelly is really fat.’ Your mother could’ve told you that. I put my belly on her back.”

Kit then attacked Jelly. Backstage, Jelly asked Aldis for a match against Kit next week and Aldis made it official.

– Chelsea Green told Giulia that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and wants to join forces against Tiffany Stratton, but Giulia doesn’t need her help.

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) (c) def. The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella and Brie Bella) via DQ after Charlotte Flair (who was there with Alexa Bliss) attacked Nia

A brawl broke out between all three teams, which ended with the champions standing tall.

– Randy Orton was talking to someone on the phone and said he’s going to go to the ring to make things right.

– In the main event segment, Randy Orton came to the ring and called out Matt Cardona to apologize to him. Randy apologized to Cardona and they hugged. Orton low-blowed Cardona and hit an RKO. Orton then injured Cardona’s hand with a steel chair.

– Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu continued fighting in the parking lot and tossed each other off a catwalk.
