• Tama Tonga Breaks Silence After 5-Figure WWE Fine

Tama Tonga was recently fined by WWE after posting a rehearsal video on TikTok, which goes against company policy. The fine was said to be in the five-figure range.

The former WWE Tag Team Champion addressed the situation during a TikTok live session today, making it clear he wasn’t letting the situation affect him. Tonga kept things light, saying he took the hit in stride and isn’t too concerned about being in trouble.

“It’s all good. Had to go to my happy place after that shenanigans. Had to go to the world’s happiest place to get myself smiling again.

Nah, I’ve been smiling. I think that’s the biggest thing – when you get hit with something, you just take the hit and keep on moving. Can’t let that bring you down, you’ve just gotta keep on moving. Am I in the doghouse? I’ve been in the doghouse my whole life! No getting out of the doghouse. I move in life like I’m in the doghouse always, because I don’t give a rat’s.”

After the live session, Tonga tweeted the following:

“Thanks for joining the live.

As addressed, yes I was fined – deserved.

I knew better- a careless mistake. -Lesson learned.

Take the hit and move on.

Back to work.”

• AEW Changes Plan For Special Due To WrestleMania 42

WWE will host WrestleMania 42 on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

All Elite Wrestling has adjusted its programming around that week. HBO Max’s schedule for April notes that the special AEW Spring BreakThru Collision episode will air on Thursday, April 16, instead of its regular Saturday slot that week.

This isn’t the first time AEW has moved Collision due to a WWE Premium Live Event. The company has previously shifted the day or time of its shows to avoid overlapping with major WWE shows.
