UPDATE: This was an April Fools’ joke.

We are on the road to WrestleMania 42 and WWE is pulling out all the stops to make sure they can sell out all the WrestleMania weekend events, despite the high ticket prices.

First, WWE announced the return of John Cena as the Host of WrestleMania 42. In an even bigger move, WWE is bringing back Vince McMahon for the Hall of Fame ceremony on April 17, where he will induct his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, in the Hall of Fame.

This is going to be McMahon’s first appearance on WWE programming in nearly 4 years, as his last WWE TV appearance was in the summer of 2022.

McMahon exclusively issued the following statement to us regarding his return:

“You’ve got no chance…no chance in hell to keep me away from my creation. I, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, am proud to announce my comeback! I’m making this historic announcement on April 1st, just a few weeks before WrestleMania. I will be returning to the company I built and ran for over 40 years during the Hall of Fame ceremony, where I will induct my beautiful daughter, Stephanie!

I’m glad all the top WWE and TKO officials decided to induct my daughter, and not my son. If they had announced Shane for the Hall of Fame, I would’ve thought it was an April Fools’ joke, lol.

Either way, it’s April 1 and the biggest story of the day is that the Genetic Jackhammer is back to inject a lethal dose of poison into WWE before WrestleMania 42!”

It should be noted that Vince McMahon specifically instructed us to release this interview on April 1st.
