AEW Dynamite Results – WWE Legend Almost Attacks Renee Paquette, Chris Jericho Returns

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite aired from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Canada. Below are the complete results from the show:

– Tony Schiavone kicked off the show and welcomed fans to the Dynasty contract signing between AEW World Champion MJF and Kenny Omega. Suddenly, pyro went off, which seemed to be a production error.

– Chris Jericho made his return, came to the ring and soaked in the crowd reaction. The fans chanted “Welcome back.” Jericho then said, “Winnipeg. AEW. I’m home.” He then left the ring.

– Will Ospreay attacked Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta backstage.

– Kenny Omega and MJF signed the contract for their AEW World Championship match at Dynasty. Omega said he would make sure MJF never touches the title again. Omega talked about his Diverticulitis battle, with MJF saying his intestines could rupture at any moment, which is why he’s in the title picture. He then called Omega a false idol who would be better off dead, which led to Omega flipping off the table.

 

 

“Speedball” Mike Bailey interrupted, accusing MJF of trying to provoke Omega so their Dynasty bout would be canceled, and challenged MJF to a match. Omega poked fun at MJF for avoiding Bailey. MJF eventually accepted, making the match official for the main event.

– Kenny Omega, Jack Perry & Brody King defeated The Demand.

– Willow Nightingale issued an open challenge for the TBS Championship on a special edition of Thursday Night Collision tomorrow.

– Adam Copeland said in a backstage interview with Renee Paquette they’d take out anyone in his and Christian Cage’s way tonight. Christian almost hit Renee with a chair. They then went to FTR’s locker room, found Rocky Romero and Trent Baretta, and attacked them with chairs.

– Will Ospreay was blindsided by PAC on his way to the ring and took a Brainbuster on the outside. A doctor checked on him before he entered the ring for their match.

– Will Ospreay defeated PAC.

After the match, PAC tried to attack Ospreay again, but got hit with a Hidden Blade. The other Death Riders then attacked Ospreay. Jon Moxley told Ospreay it’s nothing personal after which doctors checked on Ospreay.

– Mina Shirakawa & The Brawling Birds defeated Triangle of Madness

– Darby Allin called out MJF, saying he wanted to “talk to the devil,” but The Don Callis Family came out instead. Don said MJF told him Darby must beat Andrade at Dynasty for a title shot. The Don Callis Family then tried to take out Allin, but Brody King and Jack Perry made the save. Kenny Omega then interrupted and came face-to-face with Allin.

– AEW World Champion MJF defeated AEW Trios Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

MJF attacked Bailey after the match. Kenny Omega, who was on commentary, rushed into the ring to make the save as MJF retreated. Bailey raised Omega’s hand as the show went off air.
