• Major Update On WrestleMania 42 Ticket Sales Amid Ongoing Concerns

WWE will hold WrestleMania at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the second year in a row this weekend. Ticket sales have been a major topic heading into this year’s Showcase of Immortals. They haven’t been as strong as in previous years, largely due to extremely high prices and fan criticism of the company’s direction.

The topic also became a talking point on WWE programming, with Pat McAfee bringing it up following his return.

WWE has increased its promotional efforts around the event in recent weeks, even incorporating it into television, including McAfee announcing a limited-time 25% discount for fans on last week’s SmackDown after hyping it up as a surprise.

According to Sports Business Journal, a WWE source stated that ticket sales have surged in recent weeks, and the event is projected to generate one of the highest gates in company history.

Based on the latest update from WrestleTix, 42,715 tickets have been sold for Night 1 and 43,394 tickets have been sold for Night 2.

• Massive AEW vs. TNA Battle Set For June

AEW and TNA have been experiencing growing tensions in recent weeks, largely stemming from TNA President Carlos Silva blocking talent from working with AEW stars. Silva was also said to be furious with AEW running Collision against iMPACT! earlier this month.

Recent reports indicated that Silva prevented names like Nic Nemeth and Bear Bronson from appearing in a match against MJF, while also blocking a match between TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater and Ricochet.

Now, the two companies are set to go head-to-head in a major way. AEW has officially announced that its Forbidden Door pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, the same date as TNA’s Slammiversary, one of the promotion’s biggest events of the year.

Forbidden Door will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, while Slammiversary will emanate from Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.

• Latest Photo Raises Concern Over Nikki Bella’s WrestleMania 42 Status

Nikki Bella suffered a sprained ankle during The Bella Twins’ match against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on SmackDown a few weeks ago. She later stated that she expected to be medically cleared within 7-10 days, but there has been no official update since, even though that timeframe has now passed.

Nikki and Brie Bella are currently in Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania 42, where they are scheduled to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in a Fatal-4-Way match this Saturday.

However, Nikki has still been seen wearing a walking boot ahead of the event, including in a recent photo shared by a fan who met The Bella Twins in Las Vegas yesterday.

As of now, WWE has not provided an official update on the Hall of Famer’s condition, but there are rumors that The Kabuki Warriors or the team of Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez could replace The Bella Twins at WrestleMania 42 if Nikki is not medically cleared in time.
