• Nick Khan Gives Disappointing Response To WWE Fans Amid Controversial WrestleMania Build

Pro wrestling fans have always been highly vocal, and this year has been no different, with the WrestleMania 42 build drawing criticism from many over perceived lack of momentum and heavy celebrity involvement.

While speaking at this week’s CAA World Congress of Sports, WWE President Nick Khan addressed how the company evaluates audience feedback and made it clear that decisions are ultimately based on business metrics rather than fan complaints.

“Some of the complaints [in WWE’s personalized fan service] are, ‘I didn’t like the match, you guys are pieces of sh*t.’ And I go, ‘OK, I got it.’ Some are, ‘Hey, we had an obstructed view.’ OK, we’ll have you come to our next show.

People are allowed to complain, but we don’t adjust our business based on complaints. We adjust based on ratings, revenue, relevancy.”

He also made it clear that social media reactions do not factor into WWE’s decision-making process.

“I have never read X or Twitter as it relates to our business and I’ve certainly never read it regarding me. That is a vocal minority.”
