• The Sandman Loses Retirement Match, Mick Foley Makes Surprise Appearance (Videos)

The Sandman has officially hung up his boots. The ECW icon wrestled his final match at Joey Janela’s Spring Break X last night, where he lost to The Invisible Man.

Sandman walked to the ring to “Enter Sandman” one last time, accompanied by adult star Kendra Lust. However, she shocked the crowd by turning heel on him, hitting him with his own signature cane and joining forces with The Invisible Man. This led to Missy Hyatt coming out to make the save.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley made a surprise appearance and came out to help his old friend, but the heels had a backup plan. The “formerly dead” Invisible Stan appeared to help his brother, and together they took out both Foley and Sandman with low blows.

With a little help from veteran manager Bill Alfonso, The Invisible Man rolled up The Sandman for the three-count to end the legend’s career.

The former ECW World Heavyweight Champion left one last beer in the middle of the ring as the crowd gave him a massive “Thank you, Sandman” chant.

• Big Update On Roman Reigns’ WWE Exit Rumors Ahead Of WrestleMania 42

Despite all the rumors flying around today, Roman Reigns isn’t going anywhere after WrestleMania 42. Rumors have been circulating that The Tribal Chief might be leaving because his contract is supposedly about to end. However, PWInsider has confirmed that these rumors are simply not true.

WWE hasn’t said a word to shut these stories down on purpose. The company is staying quiet because they want fans to keep talking. They love the conspiracy theories and the online buzz it creates right before the massive main event between Reigns and CM Punk on Night 2.

One source close to the situation made it clear that even if his deal was close to being up, everything was “worked out with time to spare.”

In short, Roman Reigns is still locked in with WWE for the long haul. Before SmackDown, Roman’s interview with Michael Cole was released, where The OTC said the following:

“If I lose to CM Punk at WrestleMania, I don’t belong in the WWE anymore. I think if I were to lose on Sunday, I’d say my work is done.”
