• Update On Cody Rhodes After Eye Injury At WrestleMania 42
In the main event of WrestleMania 42 – Night 1, Cody Rhodes managed to defeat Randy Orton to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship in a bloody encounter. After the match, Orton hit Rhodes with the WWE Title and delivered a Punt Kick to The American Nightmare. During the WrestleMania post show, it was revealed that Cody hurt his eye during the match:
Due to this injury, Cody’s Meet & Greet appearance at WWE World today got canceled. The following statement was issued:
“Due to injuries sustained at WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes is no longer able to make it to WWE World. Unfortunately, this means your photo op and/or autograph have been cancelled.”

• John Cena Reveals Which WrestleMania 42 – Night 2 Match He’s Most Excited For
During an interview with Denise Salcedo, WrestleMania 42 host John Cena revealed that Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi is the match he’s most excited for:
“It’s very difficult to solve the puzzle that’s Brock Lesnar. Oba Femi is Brock Lesnar’s even match. I think that’s what’s exciting about that match up.
Everyone goes into a match with Brock Lesnar an underdog, except Oba Femi. I think that’s the allure, everyone wants to see two tanks square off in this ring, and not just two big men, two gifted men. Two big, agile, mobile, versatile athletes.
Shout-out to Oba. He has the courage to stand in there. I’ve had many moments where I’ve shared a ring with Brock Lesnar, and the moments where I’ve had the courage to charge the hill, I’m still ready to crap my pants.
Oba has the courage and confidence to charge the hill, and I think Brock has never seen that out of a challenger before.”
Lesnar vs. Femi will be the opening match at tonight’s WrestleMania 42 Sunday.
