Paige returned at WrestleMania 42 – Night 1, stepping in to replace Nikki Bella in the Fatal-4-Way WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match after Nikki was not medically cleared due to an ankle injury.
It marked Paige’s first WWE match in over eight years, as she teamed up with Brie Bella to capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles in a surprise return.
She later took to X to confirm she will also be in attendance for SmackDown after WrestleMania this Friday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Here’s what she posted: “Smackdown Friday then McAllen for my signing Saturday and Sunday!! See you all there! 🖤⚡️”
Paige’s last appearance on the blue brand came on March 20, 2020, when she appeared via Skype to announce the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 36.
• AEW Dynamite Results – Big Return, Darby Allin’s Next World Title Opponent
Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite aired from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon, which featured the return of Samoa Joe. Below are the complete results from the show:
– MJF kicked off the show and said Darby Allin cheated him out of the AEW World Championship while demanding a rematch. TNT Champion Kevin Knight interrupted and called him out for whining. MJF fired back saying Knight isn’t World Champion material. Knight pushed for a fight, and MJF agreed on the condition the TNT Title was on the line. Knight accepted for a match right then, but MJF backed off and said he’ll see him next week.
– Renee Paquette interviewed The Demand and Chris Jericho backstage. Ricochet warned Jericho that no matter who his partners are, The Demand will take him out.
– Brody King defeated Lio Rush.
After the match, King said he’ll be watching the AEW World Championship match closely.
– Tommaso Ciampa vowed to win the AEW World Championship and said he’s never fit the mold and believes no one is more prepared than him.
– Adam Copeland challenged AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR to a New York Street Fight at Double or Nothing, with the stipulation that if he and Christian Cage lose, they will retire as a team.

– Hikaru Shida defeated Mina Shirakawa.
– Kazuchika Okada sent a message to Konosuke Takeshita. He said Takeshita has no chance of beating him for the International Championship at Double or Nothing.
– Mark Davis defeated Will Ospreay via Medical Stoppage.

Davis attacked Ospreay after the match, but The Death Riders showed up and carried Ospreay away.
– Alex Windsor was speaking to Renee Paquette when Persephone appeared and offered to help her against Triangle of Madness. Windsor then challenged any two members of the group to face her and Persephone on Collision.
– Samoa Joe defeated Cody Chhun.
This was Joe’s first match since January. He got medically cleared tonight after being placed in concussion protocol.

– The Hurt Syndicate came out of Chris Jericho’s locker room after agreeing to team up with him against The Demand. MVP told Renee Paquette it’s never personal, just business. Jericho said “bald” and walked off.
– AEW World Champion Darby Allin spoke about winning the title last week and thanked the fans. MJF interrupted, but Darby said everyone backstage deserves a shot except him. He added he won’t defend the title against MJF unless MJF puts something on the line too.
– AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) defeated Tommaso Ciampa.
Both showed mutual respect after the match. Brody King then came out and said he will face Allin for the title next week.
