• Real Reason Behind Asuka’s WWE Hiatus

Asuka’s emotional exit on RAW has fans worried about her future, but new details show her absence has nothing to do with the recent wave of WWE roster cuts.

While some feared she was being forced out or asked to take a pay cut by TKO, insiders have quickly dismissed those rumors. Instead, it turns out Asuka personally asked for time off to handle some private matters back home in Japan, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.

Although WWE reportedly didn’t want to lose one of their most reliable stars for an extended period, they respected her situation and granted the request.

After IYO SKY said goodbye to Asuka on RAW, Michael Cole said Asuka’s status is up in the air.
