• Released WWE Wrestler Debuts In TNA, New Champion Crowned

On this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT, Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater in a 2 out of 3 falls match to win the X-Division Championship, ending Slater’s reign at 298 days.

After the match, former WWE wrestler Giovanni Vinci aka Fabian Aichner made his TNA debut and set his sights on the X-Division Title.

Giovanni Vinci (former member of Gunther’s faction Imperium) was released from WWE in February 2025.

• WWE Changing Plans For Jacy Jayne

Jacy Jayne is quickly becoming a major star in WWE, and her early success is forcing the company to rethink its future plans.

In just her first few weeks on the main roster, she has already held her own in matches against top names like WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss. These performances have gone over so well with the audience that WWE is now shuffling things around to make sure she gets more time in the spotlight.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the creative team has been so impressed by the crowd’s reaction to Jacy and her faction, Fatal Influence, that they are rewriting upcoming stories for the women’s division.

Instead of sticking to the original plans, several officials are now pushing to feature Jacy more prominently. It’s rare for a newcomer to change the direction of the show so quickly, but her strong start has made it clear that she is a priority for the company moving forward.

• Some People In WWE Expect A Return On Next Week’s RAW

Stephanie Vaquer suffered a second-degree AC sprain in her shoulder. WWE did an injury angle last month on RAW to write her off TV, where she was attacked by The Judgment Day backstage.

According to PWInsider, Vaquer might be returning to WWE TV soon, as there were creative discussions for her recently and some people in WWE are expecting her to appear on next week’s RAW.

La Primera lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42. Before the match, Vaquer said in an interview that she wasn’t 100% physically heading into the match.

• AEW Could Sign WWE Hall Of Famer Next Month

Mick Foley could soon be making a major move in the wrestling world as his relationship with WWE comes to an end. The Hall of Famer has already made it clear that he plans to let his Legends contract expire this June, due to his public disagreement with how WWE and TKO have handled certain political ties.

Because he will soon be a free agent, AEW is very interested in bringing him in, according to The Takedown on SI.

While it is still unclear if All Elite Wrestling wants to sign him to a full contract or just have him make a special appearance, the timing couldn’t be better.

AEW is currently preparing for its Double or Nothing PPV in New York, which is right near Foley’s hometown of Long Island. Since the main event features another Long Island native, MJF, many insiders believe it would be the perfect moment for Foley to finally debut in an AEW ring.
