• John Cena Diagnosed With Eye Disease
John Cena recently learned that his nagging eye problems weren’t just a sign of getting older like he first thought. The 49-year-old WWE Legend told PEOPLE Magazine that he spent a long time ignoring itchy, red eyes and blurry vision, blaming it on things like too much screen time or bright lights.
He finally went to the doctor expecting to just get a prescription for glasses, but he ended up being diagnosed with a disease called Demodex Blepharitis.
Before his checkup, Cena didn’t even know this condition existed, but he was relieved to find out that the fix was actually quite simple. While he still needs reading glasses to help with his vision, the constant irritation and crusty eyes have completely cleared up.
Now, he is urging fans to take eye health seriously and get regular exams, comparing it to how people stay on top of their dental hygiene. He wants others to learn from his mistake and realize that persistent symptoms shouldn’t just be brushed off as part of aging.

• Bad News For WWE NXT
This week’s episode of WWE NXT on May 12 hit a record low in the ratings, struggling to find its usual audience on the CW Network.
According to Programming Insider, only 498,000 people tuned in this past Tuesday, which is a big drop from the 641,000 viewers who watched just a week earlier. This marks the smallest audience the show has ever had during its normal time slot on its home network.
NXT also saw its lowest rating ever in the important 18-to-49 age group. The rating fell to a 0.06, which is nearly half of the 0.11 it earned the week before.
This week’s show featured Naraku’s in-ring debut (fka EVIL in NJPW) and Mason Rook signing his NXT contract.
