• WWE Legend Re-Signs With AEW
“The Big Show” Paul Wight is sticking around with AEW after signing a new contract with the company, according to Fightful Select.
Word got out earlier this year that the former WWE Champion’s previous deal was about to expire, but sources have since confirmed that he reached an agreement to extend his stay. While nobody knows exactly how many years were added to the contract, he is safely locked in with the organization for the foreseeable future.
This news fits perfectly with Wight’s own plans for his career. He recently mentioned in an interview that he wants to spend the final years of his wrestling journey working with All Elite Wrestling.
Even though he hasn’t been in the ring lately, he has never officially retired from in-ring competition.
