WWE SmackDown took place in Barcelona, Spain and aired live on Netflix for international fans outside U.S. at 2 PM ET and it will air on tape delay in the United States at 8 PM ET on USA Network. Below are the complete results:
– Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab came out to massive boos. Jade vowed to defeat Rhea Ripley at Clash In Italy and fans chanted “shut the f**k up.” Rhea then came out to a huge ovation. Rhea reminded Jade that she already beat her. Jade said this division doesn’t revolve around Rhea. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss came out. Alexa said she went toe-to-toe with people way better than Jade, so she told Jade to watch out or she’d embarrass Jade. This led to Nick Aldis announcing Bliss vs. Cargill.
– Jade Cargill def. Alexa Bliss
Michin tripped Alexa during the match, which led to Rhea and Charlotte brawling with Michin and B-Fab all the way to the back. After the match, Cargill hit Bliss with another Jaded, but this time on top of a steel chair. Rhea and Charlotte ran back to the ring, but Cargill retreated.
– Cody Rhodes met Sami Zayn backstage. Sami told Cody to say sorry to him because he hit Gunther during their match, but Cody took advantage and hit a Cross Rhodes for the win. Sami said he wanted to help Cody as he’s the last real good guy, but he decided to leave so Cody could learn a lesson.
– Nick Aldis told Danhausen to stop doing his experiments. The Miz told Aldis to postpone his match against Axiom because Kit Wilson isn’t here.
– Axiom def. The Miz
Lights malfunctioned a few times during this match due to Danhausen’s experiment.
– R-Truth told Damian Priest that he’s not medically cleared and got Priest a new tag team partner for tonight’s match against The MFTs: Royce Keys. Priest said he can’t trust Keys and refused to team up with him. R-Truth then tricked them to agree to team up tonight.
– Sami Zayn was venting his frustration in front of Johnny Gargano again. Matt Cardona showed up and said things aren’t working out for him either, but he’s not doing what Sami is doing. Zayn said he’ll face Cardona tonight.
– Charlotte Flair checked on Alexa Bliss. Rhea Ripley told Charlotte to not worry about Jade Cargill. Charlotte said Rhea better handle Jade.
– The MFTs (Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga) def. WWE Tag Team Champion Damian Priest and Royce Keys
During the match, Solo Sikoa hit Priest with the Samoan Spike. This led to R-Truth coming out to brawl with Solo, but Solo took him out. Royce stopped Solo, but Tama took down Royce from behind. In the ring, Talla hit Damian with a chokeslam for the win.
– The Miz threatened to sue Nick Aldis for the lights malfunctioning during his match. Miz said it’s because of Danhausen. Danhausen sprayed the fire extinguisher on Miz.
– Chelsea Green showed up wearing the same clothes as Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany said she won’t accompany Chelsea for Chelsea’s match against Nia Jax.
– Sami Zayn def. Matt Cardona
– Nick Aldis told Gunther to keep it civil in the ring with Cody Rhodes tonight.
– United States Champion Trick Williams declared himself for the King of the Ring tournament. Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints came out and said they are coming for the U.S. Title. Ricky told Trick to get out of the ring and Trick laid him out with a backhanded slap.
– Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints ended in a Double Count-Out
Ricky attacked Carmelo after the match, but Hayes laid him out.
– Nia Jax said she’s going to handle Chelsea Green tonight, and Lash Legend told Tiffany Stratton that she’s coming for the Women’s United States Championship.
– Chelsea Green def. Nia Jax
During the match, Chelsea took out Lash Legend. Tiffany Stratton showed up and hit Nia with the Women’s U.S. Title, which led to Chelsea taking advantage and pinning Nia.
– Jacy Jayne declared herself for the Queen of the Ring tournament. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid said they are coming for Paige and Brie Bella’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
– Gunther called Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes an entitled brat, and he wants to protect this sacred sport from people like Cody. Gunther said he only cares about being the best professional wrestler in the world and doesn’t care about the fame. Gunther said Cody is a mark for himself. Cody said if Gunther didn’t care about fame, then he would still be talking to a 330 lbs Gunther. Cody said Gunther is going to find out that The Ring General is just not that good. Gunther said he did exactly what he promised to do to Bill Goldberg, AJ Styles, and John Cena. Gunther vowed to put Cody to sleep and drop him like a wet towel, and take the WWE Championship with him.
