Tonight’s WWE SmackDown took place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Below are the complete results:

– Undisputed WWE Championship Match With Sami Zayn As The Special Guest Referee: Cody Rhodes (c) def. Gunther to retain the title after a fast count from Sami

Gunther and Sami had an argument, which led to Sami slapping Gunther and Gunther powerbombing Sami. After that, Cody was trying to pin Gunther, but Gunther was holding on to the top rope. Sami stepped in and kicked Gunther’s hands to make The Ring General fall, and went on to do a fast pinfall count to make Gunther lose to Cody.

Cody said there should be a rematch. Gunther attacked Sami backstage.

– Undisputed WWE Championship Rematch: Gunther def. Cody Rhodes (c) via DQ after Sami Zayn hit Gunther with a Helluva Kick

Sami also hit Cody with the WWE Title.

– Backstage, Gunther accused Nick Aldis of screwing him, and said Nick isn’t fit to do his job. Gunther demanded another WWE Title rematch at Night of Champions.

– Jade Cargill challenged Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s United States Championship at Night of Champions.

– Jacob Fatu told Solo Sikoa that time is running out for him to return to The Bloodline, and wants Solo to make the right decision.

– Blake Monroe put Giulia on notice in her latest “coming soon” vignette.

– WWE Tag Team Championship Match: R-Truth and Damian Priest (c) def. MFT (Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga) to retain the titles

Solo Sikoa’s interference cost MFTs the match. Tama and Talla weren’t happy.

– Nick Aldis confronted Sami Zayn for the fast count. Sami told Johnny Gargano that he’s the last real good guy.

– #1 Contender Match For The United States Championship: Ricky Saints def. Carmelo Hayes after Carmelo went crotch first and head first into the exposed turnbuckle

Saints will now face Trick Williams for the United States Championship at Night of Champions.

– Charlotte Flair said she will always be The Queen, and is coming for her 15th world title at SummerSlam after she wins Queen of the Ring.

– Matt Cardona saved Danhausen from Los Garza.

– Damian Priest told R-Truth that he doesn’t trust Finn Balor.

– Cody Rhodes said he wants to beat both Gunther and Sami Zayn. Nick Aldis announced a Triple Threat Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions.

– King Of The Ring Semi-Finals: Jey Uso def. Je’Von Evans

Jey will now face Oba Femi in the Finals at Night of Champions. Jey showed respect to Je’Von after the match.

– Solo Sikoa told Jacob Fatu that if Roman Reigns keeps messing with My Family Tree, he will have to go to RAW and mess with The Bloodline.

– Giulia announced she will face Kiana James on next week’s SmackDown in London.

– Tiffany Stratton accepted Jade Cargill’s challenge for a Women’s United States Championship match at Night of Champions. Tiffany said she doesn’t need Chelsea Green’s help.

– Paige and Brie Bella addressed their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria on next week’s RAW. Fatal Influence said they will come after Paige and Brie if they retain on Monday. Jacy Jayne will face Paige on next week’s SmackDown in London.

– Cody Rhodes wished Jey Uso best of luck against Oba Femi. Sami Zayn told Jey that it’ll be Jey vs. Sami for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam if Jey wins King of the Ring.

– Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab attacked Charlotte Flair backstage and hurt her knee. Liv Morgan laughed. Charlotte went to the ring limping and Liv attacked Charlotte before the match. Nick Aldis tried to talk Charlotte out of competing, but Flair didn’t listen.

– Queen Of The Ring Semi-Finals: Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan def. Charlotte Flair via submission

Liv will now face IYO SKY in the Finals at Night of Champions. Even during the match, Alexa Bliss and Nick Aldis tried to talk Charlotte out of competing.
