After tonight’s RAW ended, WWE taped this Friday’s August 28th episode of SmackDown. Below are the spoilers (these don’t include some promos and backstage segments):
– Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk interrupted Kevin Owens’ promo. Gunther and Finn Balor joined them. A triple threat No.1 Contender’s match was announced: Kevin Owens vs. Gunther vs. Finn Balor.
– The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) def. Interim WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton
WWE’s medical team tried to take Chelsea away, but she returned to the match.
– Gunther came face-to-face with Danhausen during a meeting with Nick Aldis.
– Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton met in the ring. Orton called Brandi Rhodes a “trashy a$$ wife” and wanted Cody to hit him, but Cody knows he can’t before Sunday Night’s Main Event due to Nick Aldis’ stipulation.

– Women’s United States Championship Match: Jacy Jayne (c) def. Paige to retain the title
After the match, Nikki Bella attacked Paige.

– Tatum Paxley def. Michin (this was Paxley’s SmackDown debut match)
– Giulia attacked Blake Monroe backstage.
– No.1 Contender’s Match For The Undisputed WWE Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Gunther vs. Finn Balor ended in a No Contest after Sami Zayn interfered
Sami attacked everyone with the WWE Title, including CM Punk.
