• 2 More WWE Departures Confirmed
The WWE Independent Development roster is going through another major shakeup, with PWInsider reporting that both Cappuccino Jones and Santi Rivera have left the program.
The move marks a surprising exit for Jones in particular, who carried the WWE ID Men’s Championship for an impressive 234-day run from August 2025 until March 2026 and currently holds the Reality of Wrestling Texas Championship.
Here’s what he wrote about his departure:
“After 2 years, my time in WWE ID has come to an end, as I’ve decided to part ways.
I’m grateful for all of the knowledge, experience, & wisdom that I’ve attained and will take with me for the rest of my career.
Thank you WWE.
i’m ready for my next cup.
Do ya dig it? ☕️”

His fellow departing talent, 24-year-old Rivera, entered the business in 2021 and made a name for himself across the indie scene with appearances for Create A Pro, Beyond Wrestling, and Reality of Wrestling.
Their quiet exits add to a growing wave of talent cut from the WWE ID pipeline in recent times, joining names like Laynie Luck, Marcus Mathers, and Sam Holloway.
• WWE Has Major Plans For RAW Star At WrestleMania 43
WWE reportedly has major long-term plans in place for Roxanne Perez leading toward WrestleMania 43, despite her failing to capture the Money In The Bank contract.
According to a backstage report from Self Made Pro, WWE initially planned for Perez to win the briefcase before pivoting the decision to Tiffany Stratton. The late change was reportedly designed to surprise the audience and generate sympathy for Perez by making fans feel she was cheated out of the win.
Rather than utilizing a Money In The Bank cash-in, creative plans allegedly shifted toward building Perez as a major babyface through a sustained championship chase. Backstage conversations reportedly indicated that this sympathy-driven push is intended to culminate during the upcoming WrestleMania 43 season as she pursues the Women’s World Championship, currently held by fellow Judgment Day member, Liv Morgan.
