• Former Champion Suffers Injury On Raw
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick suffered a legitimate injury on Raw after being hit by a GTS from Hideo Itami.
Below is what WWE posted:
“The Brian Kendrick sustained a broken nose and broken orbital bone in his loss to Hideo Itami last night on Raw.
The injuries occurred when Itami, the newest addition to Raw’s Cruiserweight division, struck Kendrick with his signature Go-To-Sleep.
“During a match between The Brian Kendrick and Hideo Itami, Itami performed the GTS and during that maneuver, Kendrick was struck in the left eye and the inner aspect of the nose,” WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com. “A fracture was suspected, and he was taken to a local emergency care facility in Chicago where a CT scan confirmed a diagnosis of an orbital wall fracture and a minimally displaced nasal bridge fracture.”
The orbital wall fracture penetrated the maxillary sinus without muscle or nerve entrapment, Amann explained. At this time, the injury appears nonsurgical.
“We will be following it closely and making sure everything heals appropriately and that surgery’s not needed,” Amann said.
There is currently no timetable for when Kendrick is expected to return to action.”

The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion became famous for having arguably the greatest undefeated streak in Professional Wrestling history in 1997-1998.
As of this point there’s a rumor of him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018, so it’s quite possible that we will see him in action again, maybe as a surprise entrant in the 2018 Royal Rumble and/or in a match at WrestleMania 34.

• WCW Veteran Says He Couldn’t Care Less About The WWE Hall of Fame
During a recent interview with CBS Sports, WCW Veteran Buff Bagwell was asked if he thinks he should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Below is what Bagwell said:
“I 100 percent couldn’t care less, and I don’t mean that ugly. Let me give you a great answer why. Teddy Long is in the WWE Hall of Fame, and The Total Package, Lex Luger, that is in a wheelchair, that everybody in the world knows, is not.
Take those two, and it diminishes the WWE Hall of Fame tremendously. I mean, don’t get me wrong. If I got in it, I’d be very proud and say I made it and here’s my ring. But at the same time, if I didn’t get called by them, I won’t lose an ounce of sleep over not getting in the WWE Hall of Fame.”
