Original Plan For Brock Lesnar – Roman Reigns Segment On Raw Revealed, Possible Reason Why Lesnar Didn’t Show Up On Raw

Brock Lesnar WWF 2002

As seen on last night’s episode of Raw, Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns were scheduled to meet in a “face to face” confrontation in the ring ahead of their WrestleMania 34 main event bout, but Lesnar no showed on Raw and Reigns just appeared by himself and cut the best promo of his WWE career.

You can watch it below:

Below is what WWE posted about Lesnar missing Raw:

Why wasn’t Brock Lesnar on Raw as scheduled?

“After Universal Champion Brock Lesnar failed to meet his WrestleMania challenger, Roman Reigns, face-to-face on this week’s Raw, WWE reached out to The Beast’s advocate for an explanation or, at the very least, a rebuttal to The Big Dog’s incendiary critique of the champion on the broadcast. Unfortunately, Heyman has not responded to requests for comment.

Reporters have also contacted the office of Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, but following Triple H’s attack on the WWE Hall of Famer in the wake of Stephanie McMahon’s confrontation with Ronda Rousey, Angle remains unavailable.”

According to PWInsider, Lesnar was a part of multiple Raw scripts that were written for the show and Lesnar & Reigns were scheduled to have a lengthy promo segment on Raw where both of them were scheduled to trade non-PG words.

Regarding Lesnar not showing up on Raw, PWInsider is speculating that this could be Lesnar’s way to negotiate a possible new deal with WWE as his contract expires after WrestleMania 34.

It should be noted that Lesnar did the same thing three years ago – that is walk out of a TV taping to negotiate a new deal as his contract was set to expire after WrestleMania 31.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this situation.
