• RAW Wrestler Reveals Why He Isn’t Buying Hulk Hogan’s Apology

Hulk Hogan’s suspension was lifted a couple of weeks ago and he was reinstated into the WWE Hall Of Fame. He showed up backstage at Extreme Rules and issued an apology to the locker room for the comments he made years ago.

Some people accepted his apology while some didn’t. However, RAW wrestler Titus O’ Neil isn’t buying the Hulkster’s apology. He recently appeared on Busted Open Radio where he discussed the whole situation.

Below is what Titus said:

“You know I think I pretty much summed up everything in my statement on Twitter and Instagram that statement was circulated in media outlets. At the end of the day, the company made a decision. I support the decision. I actually support having one fo the most iconic figures in WWE History in Hulk Hogan being in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

What I don’t support is the apology that was given in regards to the words and the things, the actions he exhibited years ago. To me when you have true remorse when you feel sorry for doing something it’s pretty simple. You don’t have to be prepped to say certain things.

I just feel the inconsistency from the time that it came out to last week were so across the board that you know it’s just like sitting there it was uncomfortable for me because I wanted to give the character Hulk Hogan a chance.”

Titus said that Hogan disappointed a lot of people and disagreed with the idea that there was a 50/50 split of people accepting and rejecting his apology. He said that time will tell how much involvement Hogan will have with WWE. He wants to give the man behind the character a chance as well.

• WWE Could Be Facing Serious Competition Soon

WWE signed big money TV Deals with USA Network and FOX for RAW and SmackDown Live earlier this year. These deals are obviously huge which will help the company make a lot of profit.

Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that the other big wrestling promotions may also be looking to make big TV deals to compete with WWE. Meltzer said that by signing these deals, the promotions could even book their shows poorly but they’ll still make a huge amount of money (taking a shot at WWE).

Meltzer went on to say that house shows, social media followers, ticket sales, etc are all secondary and that the TV deals matter the most. He said that whoever gets the biggest TV deal will be the one to compete with WWE, be it Impact, NJPW or ROH.
