• Big Surprise Return Set To Take Place Soon
Former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio has signed a new contract with WWE and as we noted before, he’ll be a part of the SmackDown Live brand.
Regarding when Mysterio is set to become a regular member of the WWE roster, WrestleVotes noted that some people backstage in WWE want a surprise return for Mysterio at this Saturday’s WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia, but his return might be held off until the historic 1000 episode of SmackDown – SmackDown 1000 on October 16.
Regarding Rey Mysterio, some within the company wanted a “surprise pop” for the Australia stadium show coming up on Saturday, however I’m hearing his return is more likely to happen in 2 weeks at SmackDown 1000. Mysterio was a staple of SD in the early days. Makes sense.
