• Possible Reason Behind WWE Cancelling Upcoming Intergender Match

As we noted before, Dean Ambrose vs. Nia Jax was being advertised for a WWE Live Event on February 22 in Jonesboro, AR.

Below is the promo for this match:

However, this match has now been cancelled.

According to Post Wrestling, WWE noted that the advertisement for Dean Ambrose vs. Nia Jax match is outdated and it won’t be taking place.

With that being said, many believe that the ad wasn’t outdated and the matter is something else.

There’s a rumor going on that WWE received backlash from a sponsor for promoting man-woman violence (intergender wrestling) and that’s why WWE had to pull the match.

Also, one of the main reasons why WWE didn’t feature man on woman violence for a long time (and also why they went PG) is because of their deal with Mattel as they didn’t want WWE to feature that on their programming.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
