RAW & SmackDown Viewership Expected To Increase By About 11% In 2020

On this day in 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly syndicated TV show on TSN (The Sports Network) in Canada.

• RAW & SmackDown Viewership Expected To Increase By About 11% In 2020

According to the Wrestling Observer, Nielsen Ratings are expected to change their ratings system in 2020 and this is expected to lead to an increase of about 11% viewership for WWE’s RAW & SmackDown:

“Nielsen has announced that ratings will be changing next year and they will be measuring viewing outside the home, in places like bars, airports and offices as well as other areas.

Nielsen has been testing out doing ratings of out-of-home viewing and has found that sports events in particular, with sports bars, will increase an average of 11% with the added viewership.”
