• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 61st birthday of Old School WWF/WCW Legend “Ravishing” Rick Rude (Real name: Richard Rood).

His great career was cut short due to an injury that happened during a match against Sting in 1994, but even after retiring from active professional wrestling, Rude still appeared as a manager on WWF Television, where he managed D-Generation X, and later on WCW TV where he became a non-wrestling member of the nWo New World Order.

Still to this day, Rick Rude’s physique is unmatched in the wrestling business, so his body is considered one of the best in professional wrestling history.

In 2017, he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his old WWF/WCW rival Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat.

• Bray Wyatt Doesn’t Like Red Light During His Matches

According to the Wrestling Observer, Bray Wyatt isn’t a fan of the red light that is used during The Fiend’s segments and matches.

As we have noted before, the red light is Vince McMahon’s idea, and it was also something that the company used for Kane early on.

During this week’s WWE Backstage, Seth Rollins was asked about working in red light with The Fiend and below is what Rollins said:

“So that was a mess for me, right?

Because first of all, you’re in this dark red. The cell is also red and so you’re trying to navigate around the edges of the cell and it’s very tight quarters to begin with. It was a mess.

It was very difficult to deal with especially not knowing what was going to happen. I for one am not a fan [of the red light] I think it affects my performance personally.”
