AEW Dynamite Results – Former World Champion Returns

– AEW Dynamite kicked off with Gabe Kidd calling out Darby Allin to face him. Darby came out and they got into a brawl. The Death Riders came out to help Kidd, but The Opps, Hook, and Willow Nightingale made the save. Darby took out Kidd and drove off with him in a body bag.

– Mercedes Mone (c) def. Alex Windsor to retain the TBS Women’s Championship

After the match, Mone put Windsor into the Statement Maker, but former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho returned to make the save. Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Riho for the TBS Title will take place at All Out.

– The Opps and Hook met backstage. Hook is upset with Samoa Joe for replacing him with Powerhouse Hobbs while he was injured. Joe said it wasn’t personal, it was simply opportunities were coming for The Opps, and that Hobbs was ready to step up. Joe said Hook can be angry with him, but The Opps will still have his back.

– Taz’s banner was raised in The 2300 Arena to induct him into the Hardcore Hall of Fame.

– Mark Briscoe def. Lance Archer

Don Callis revealed Briscoe will face Konosuke Takeshita on Collision and if Briscoe wins, he will get a TNT Title match against Kyle Fletcher.

– Ricochet and The Gates of Agony gave credit to themselves for The Hurt Syndicate losing the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Forbidden Door. Ricochet said The Hurt Syndicate will lose to the three of them and issued a challenge for All Out.

– AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm issued a challenge to anyone who dares step up for her title.

– Brodido (Brody King & ROH World Champion Bandido) (c) def. The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

– FTR got into a brawl with Adam Copeland & Christian Cage.

– The Hurt Syndicate accepted Ricochet & The Gates of Agony’s challenge for All Out.

– AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada said he is the top guy in The Don Callis Family, not Konosuke Takeshita.

– TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander, and The Young Bucks def. AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page, Kenny Omega, and JetSpeed

After the match, The Don Callis Family continued to attack Page & Omega. Fletcher put Omega through a table with a Brain Buster. Omega was taken away on a stretcher.
