2. Multiple Superstars Returning To WWE Programming Next Week, Possible Intercontinental Title Match For Battleground 2016
Multiple WWE stars were involved in the filming of “The Marine 5: Battleground” and they will return to WWE Programming next month. Below are the names:
– The Miz
– Maryse
– Naomi
– Heath Slater
– Curtis Axel
– Bo Dallas
The Miz is currently the Intercontinental Champion. With Kevin Owens failing to win the Money In The Bank contract, it looks like he’ll go after the Intercontinental Title once again. But as seen on Raw, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens went at it again and Zayn managed to pin Owens.
With WWE likely not going for a Heel vs. Heel match, expect Sami Zayn to be added to the Intercontinental Title picture and at Battleground 2016 another Triple Threat Title match might take place: The Miz (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn.
