7. Update on When Randy Orton Will Return To WWE Programming

12 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will require 3 more months to get fully healed and return to in-ring action on WWE programming. This means that Orton will be able to return in time for SummerSlam 2016.

During an interview with AfterBuzzTV, Orton revealed when he got injured:

“I had a match, October 15th in Chicago. And, I was in the ring with a couple of different guys, and it’s unclear to me what happened, but my shoulder got stretched back, and the capsule was stretched and I had a repair 12 years ago that was destroyed. So, I had a little pain, got an MRI and basically I was told that they had to fix my shoulder up again.

I had a different guy do it and had a stabilization surgery done that they do on rugby players who go back to 100% full-time playing rugby, and those guys, they’re some tough customers. So, I got really fortunate with the doctor and I think everything’s going to be just fine, a couple more months.”

6. Was Batista Offered Any Role For WrestleMania 32?

According to ProWrestlingSheet, former WWE Champion Batista was offered a role in the Legends segment at WrestleMania 32, which featured Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

This contradicts previous reports which suggested that Vince McMahon offered Batista a Special Guest Referee role for the WWE World Title match at WrestleMania 32.

Batista refused to make an appearance as he wanted a proper storyline, not a one time appearance role.
