Update On Triple H’s Return To WWE TV, Big Title Match Set, United States Title Rematch Ends In Double Count-Out on Raw, What’s Next For Cesaro & Sheamus?

5. Luke Harper Returning To Be A Part of Raw?

As we have noted before, former Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper will return to WWE programming soon. He has been out of action due to a knee injury (which resulted in him missing WrestleMania 32).

It looks like Harper will be a part of the Raw brand as he’s being advertised for Raw Live Events in Chile, Peru and Ecuador. He will be facing Sami Zayn at the Live Events. It should be noted that he’s the replacement of former Raw Superstar Jack Swagger (who went to SmackDown Live).

4. Paul Heyman Giving Inputs To WWE Storylines? WWE Superstars Matches For This Week

It is being reported that Paul Heyman recently asked to have more backstage work in the WWE, like giving creative input in Raw & SmackDown storylines. This could have been a condition under Heyman’s new WWE contract, which he signed around SummerSlam 2016.

No word yet on if Heyman’s request was granted but it should be noted that Vince McMahon is happy to accept creative ideas from people who actually work in the business, unlike the “hollywood writers” they have now.

The following matches were taped before tonight’s episode of Raw for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars:

– Neville vs. Jinder Mahal

– Sami Zayn vs. Curtis Axel

3. Triple H Not Returning To WWE Programming Anytime Soon

As we noted before, plans are for Triple H & Seth Rollins to square off to next year’s WrestleMania 33. This match was originally planned for WrestleMania 32 but Rollins’ injury prevented that from happening.

WWE officials believe if they bring Triple H on WWE programming now, they will have problems keeping this angle between Rollins-Triple H hot till WrestleMania 33, which is still 6 months away.

Speaking of Triple H, he appeared after last night’s Clash of Champions 2016 to pick up Stephanie McMahon in a limo.
