• CM Punk Has Pitched Multiple Ideas For His AEW Return
After suffering a triceps injury and getting suspended for the backstage fight at the All Out 2022 PPV, CM Punk is ready to return to AEW.
According to Fightful Select, Punk has communicated repeatedly with AEW Officials that he wants to come back and has pitched the following scenarios:
– He’s willing to work with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. However, as of a few months ago, Omega & Bucks aren’t interested in working with Punk.
– He’s willing to completely stay away and out of The Elite’s business and have no interaction with them, if that’s what they want. There’s speculation that the rumored new AEW show that will air on Saturday could be used to facilitate that.
– He’s open to working elsewhere. No word yet on if he meant he wants to work in ROH (which is also owned by Tony Khan).
