WWE SmackDown aired LIVE from Dublin, Ireland on Netflix for fans outside of the United States. It will air at the usual time on the USA Network later tonight. Below are the complete results, featuring John Cena, Logan Paul, Becky Lynch & more.
– RAW’s Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch kicked off SmackDown. After starting her promo as a babyface, she quickly turned to her heel side by saying these fans in Dublin don’t deserve a LIVE TV show. Fans starting chanting “We Want Lyra” and Becky said Lyra won’t be here because she beat her. Becky said these fans don’t deserve to be on TV because they don’t have a face for TV. Becky isn’t happy about the lack of media coverage she got in Ireland and reminded them that she’s their hero. Fans chanted “shut the f**k up.” Becky said she’s the greatest women’s wrestler of all time and reminded everyone that she was the first woman to win the main event of WrestleMania. She also said she has a very hot American husband. This led to chants for CM Punk, which led to Becky saying nobody wants that old a$$. Becky started ripping Irish boxer Katie Taylor, which led to WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton coming out. Tiffany said she doesn’t understand how Becky can be so ungrateful to Dublin, Ireland and reminded Becky that she’s on the wrong show. Tiffany said if Becky doesn’t want to leave, she will make Becky leave on behalf of all the fans. This led to Nia Jax coming out and attacking Stratton, and Becky joined in. Jade Cargill ran out to make the save. Cargill and Stratton laid out Jax, while Becky escaped. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came out and booked the main event: Becky Lynch & Nia Jax vs. Tiffany Stratton & Jade Cargill.
– Fraxiom insulted The Miz in a backstage segment. This led to Carmelo Hayes putting over Miz’s accomplishments and called Miz “smarter than everyone else” while taking off his glasses and staring at The Miz. The Miz looked confused.
– Melo Don’t Miz (The Miz & Carmelo Hayes) def. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)
Miz pinned Sabin. Miz & Hayes advance to next week’s #1 contender’s match.
– Sami Zayn congratulated Jimmy Uso backstage. Solo Sikoa interrupted and said he will bless Jimmy & Naomi by letting them name Baby Uso after Uncle Solo. Jimmy said No Yeet. Sami told Solo to worry about keeping the U.S. Title.
– Piper Niven def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair after interference from Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre
– Michin will have to face Kiana James before getting a shot at Giulia’s Women’s United States Championship.
– John Cena came out and was immediately interrupted by Logan Paul. Fans chanted “f**k you Logan.” Logan said f**k you back and said WWE is censoring this. Logan said Twitter warriors are going to call him an outsider, but he questioned how he’s an outsider when he’s been doing this for 4 years, has great matches and has been doing this longer than half the roster. Logan made fun of Cena’s wrestling skills and called him an imposter. Cena said Logan is a future WWE Champion and a future WrestleMania main eventer. Cena said this is what he believes to be true, but it makes him disappointed. Cena said Logan is not an outsider, but he is a disappointment. Cena called out Logan for using WWE has a branding opportunity to buy another Pokemon card. Cena then destroyed the Prime hydration station. Cena called out Logan for having only 23 matches, while he’s been here giving his heart and soul for 23 years, even in untelevised matches. Cena said Logan is not an outsider, but a parasite. Cena said fans don’t care if he does 5 moves or 1 move, and showed Logan the middle finger while referring to doing just one move, and fans cheered.
Cena said Logan stole opportunities from wrestlers like Dominik Mysterio, AJ Styles, The Usos and Jacob Fatu just to name a few. Fans chanted for AJ Styles. Cena said fans want to see these legendary matches and they think he’s wasting his time on Logan. Cena says Logan knows about Hustle, but knows nothing about Loyalty and Respect. Cena also took a shot at Logan’s legal troubles. Cena told Logan to bring his A-game at Clash In Paris because he’s facing the greatest of all time. Logan flipped Cena’s cap off and shoved him. Logan went for a punch, but Cena ducked and laid him out with an Attitude Adjustment.
– Drew McIntyre motivated Logan Paul backstage. Drew said:
“You’re scared of John Cena subconsciously. It’s not 2010, that’s not Super Cena, that’s still John Cena. You’re gonna make this right tonight, whatever it takes.”
– The Street Profits def. MFT (JC Mateo & Tonga Loa)
Jimmy Uso attacked Talla Tonga with a steel chair during the match, but nothing happened to Talla and he attacked Big Jim. Sami Zayn hit Solo Sikoa with a Helluva Kick.
– R-Truth appeared on the titantron and revealed he accidentally went to Dublin, Georgia instead of Dublin, Ireland and his match against Aleister Black is canceled. However, Truth has a replacement. Damian Priest came out and brawled with Black.
– Drew McIntyre gave an update on Cody Rhodes: Cody is a little b*tch. Drew said Cody will have to face him and he will take the WWE Championship away. Randy Orton showed up from behind and hit an RKO.
– Jade Cargill & WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton def. Nia Jax & Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch
– In a backstage segment, Nick Aldis met John Cena and said he just talked to Brock Lesnar and… Logan Paul knocked out Cena before Aldis could continue.
