• Fans Boo As Light Heavyweight Title Remains Vacant After UFC 282 Main Event

The main event of tonight’s UFC 282 pay-per-view was for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight (205 lbs) Championship between Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev, and it ended in a Split Draw with no new champion being crowned.

The crowd booed this decision. Joe Rogan and UFC Hall Of Famer Daniel Cormier noted on Commentary that they feel Ankalaev won.

During the post-fight interview, Ankalaev said he won and he should get the belt. Jan agreed with him.

In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett defeated Jared Gordon via Unanimous Decision. In the post-fight interview, Rogan said that outcome was a close one and Paddy said ‘no, it wasn’t’.

AEW World Champion MJF was shown on camera before this fight. For those who don’t know, MJF recently began a feud with Paddy on Social Media, where Conor McGregor got involved as well (tap here to read more).
