7. Kurt Angle Returning To In-Ring Action In WWE At SummerSlam 2017?
According to reports, WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 inductee Kurt Angle is scheduled to work a part time wrestling schedule in WWE, where he would work the major WWE PPVs (the big 4 PPVs).
During an interview with Forbes, Angle noted that while WWE officials haven’t talked to him about an in-ring return in WWE yet, he wouldn’t be surprised if it were to happen in the future:
“I wouldn’t be surprised if I do a few more matches somewhere down the line, but they haven’t talked about it so it’s not official. This Hall of Fame thing is just the beginning, so let’s see how it goes and we’ll go from there.”
Word is that Angle is expected to make in-ring return in WWE at SummerSlam 2017, possibly in the main event of the show. No other information is available as of now regarding who Angle will feud with.
It should be noted that there have also been rumors of Angle replacing Mick Foley as the General Manager of Raw after WrestleMania 33.
