Tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event aired LIVE from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The opening match was between Randy Orton (with Jelly Roll) and Drew McIntyre (with Logan Paul). Jelly and Logan got physical at ringside. The distraction resulted in Orton hitting the RKO on McIntyre for the win.

Logan attacked Orton after the match, which led to Jelly laying out Logan with a right hand. While Jelly was checking on Orton, McIntyre hit Jelly with a Claymore Kick.

After this, Ms. Money In The Bank Naomi attacked Jade Cargill and a brawl broke out. Nick Aldis came out and announced that Bianca Belair will be the special guest referee for Cargill vs. Naomi tomorrow night at Evolution. Belair then made her return.

Next match is for the United States Championship. Solo Sikoa defeated Jimmy Uso to retain the title. After the match, My Family Tree attacked Jimmy, which led to Jacob Fatu making the save. Jacob laid out Talla Tonga.

Up next is Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight. It looked like Rollins hurt his knee towards the end of the match. The match was stopped for a while. The match was then restarted and LA immediately hit the BFT for the win.

WWE announces Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul for SummerSlam 2025.

Up next is the main event of the evening and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship. Gunther makes his way out first, followed by Goldberg. Goldberg was accompanied by his friends and son backstage.

The match begins and Goldberg shoves down Gunther. Goldberg’s power is on full display and Gunther’s chops have no effect on the WCW Legend. Goldberg drops Gunther with a clothesline. Goldberg is looking for a Jackhammer, but Gunther counters. Gunther clotheslines Goldberg down. Gunther goes to the top rope, but Goldberg gorilla slams him down.

Gunther is targeting Goldberg’s bad knee. They are brawling outside the ring. Goldberg goes for a spear, but Gunther moves out of the way and Goldberg goes crashing through the barricade! Gunther is back to working on Goldberg’s bad knee. They exchange chops, Gunther kicks the knee and Goldberg goes down.

The Ring General is now disrespecting The Icon. Goldberg hits a Spine Buster! Gunther is looking for a powerbomb, but Goldberg drops him over his head. Goldberg goes for a spear, Gunther moves out of the way and Goldberg accidentally spears Charles Robinson!

Gunther rips off Goldberg’s protective knee brace and begins attacking the knee with the brace. Gunther hits Goldberg in the head with the brace. Gunther is now mocking Gage Goldberg. Gunther shoves Gage. Gage jumps the barricade for a fight, but security stops him. Gunther returns to the ring and Goldberg hits a Spear! Goldberg goes for a Jackhammer and hits it! A new referee runs to the ring for the cover, but Gunther kicks out!

Goldberg can’t stand on his feet anymore and Gunther locks in the Sleeper Hold. Goldberg faints and Gunther retains the World Heavyweight Championship.

After the match, Goldberg’s friends and family joined him in the ring. He apologized to the fans for going out a little subpar, but thanked the fans for their support. Over 100 friends and family members of Goldberg came to see his retirement match tonight.

NXT The Great American Bash Results

A few hours before Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE aired another event: NXT The Great American Bash. Below are the results:

– Je’Von Evans def. WWE LFG season 1 winner Jasper Troy

– Sol Ruca (c) (with Zaria) def. Izzi Dame (with Tatum Paxley) to retain the NXT Women’s North American Championship

– Ethan Page (c) def. Ricky Saints in a Falls Count Anywhere match to retain the NXT North American Championship

– TNA World Champion Trick Williams, Mike Santana and Joe Hendry had a contract signing for their triple threat title match at TNA Slammiversary. Santana & Hendry teamed up and slammed Trick through the table. Darkstate came out and attacked Santana & Hendry.

– Oba Femi (c) def. Yoshiki Inamura (with Josh Briggs) to retain the NXT Championship

– Blake Monroe & Jordynne Grace def. Fatal Influence (NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley) (with Jazmyn Nyx)

This was Blake’s televised WWE debut match. She pinned the NXT Women’s Champion to pick up the win. TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich showed up during the match and brawled with Jazmyn.
