3. Will Goldberg Make His Long Awaited WWE Return At SummerSlam 2016?
WWE posted a video before Raw regarding the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game in which Brock Lesnar is the cover star and former WWE & WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg is the pre-order exclusive star.
During the video, Paul Heyman called Goldberg a “supporting player” in WWE 2K17. Lesnar called out Bill Goldberg by saying “Bill, you’re next!”. For those who don’t know, “You’re Next!” is the catchphrase of Goldberg. Below is the video:

Below is what Goldberg tweeted about this:

Goldberg will be in the same town as SummerSlam 2016 this Sunday. He’ll be there to promote the WWE 2K17 video game and will be there on 2K’s behalf, not WWE’s. However, Goldberg making a return to WWE isn’t impossible as WWE did the same thing with Kevin Nash making his return after the SummerSlam 2011 main event.
Also, the past cover stars of the WWE 2K video games, Ultimate Warrior and Sting, made their WWE return (debut in Sting’s case) after these video game deals, so there’s still a chance for a Goldberg return.
