Good News For AJ Styles’ Future In WWE, Reason Behind The Rock Being Kept Away From Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 32, Big Push Possibly Cancelled

6. Jim Ross Talks About Shane McMahon Running Raw Despite Losing To The Undertaker, Rumors of AJ Styles Working Stiff, Brand Split

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross held a Q&A session on his website where he answered a few fan questions. Below are the highlights:

On Shane McMahon running Raw despite losing to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32:

“Don’t have an answer for you…sorry. It’s obviously not that big an issue to WWE or they wouldn’t have forsaken their top Wrestlemania stipulation after 24 hours. Dave Meltzer and I address this matter on this week’s Ross Report Podcast.”

On Sami Zayn in WWE and rumors of AJ Styles working too stiff:

“Zayn is a main eventer in waiting and he’s likely not going to be waiting long. Talented, dedicated pro. BTW working stiff isn’t a crime but working in a careless manner is. Don’t believe all that you read or ‘hear.’”

On the brand split possibly returning in WWE and what it would take to execute it:

“The full and total commitment by upper management to pull the trigger. It won’t work unless the brand split stays clean IMO.”

5. Which Role Did Batista Reject At WrestleMania 32?

According to ProWrestlingSheet, former WWE Champion Batista was offered a role in the Legends segment at WrestleMania 32, which featured Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

This contradicts previous reports which suggested that Vince McMahon offered Batista a Special Guest Referee role for the WWE World Title match at WrestleMania 32.

Batista refused to make an appearance as he wanted a proper storyline, not a one time appearance role.
